In 1985 concepts of a new beadwork style began to emerge. The techniques were unique, antique and quite lacy, thus the term we know today as "Lacebeadwork". As new designs were created, so the number of students visiting the studio, began to increase. With little room left to fit more students, the idea of a book series became necessary. With a series of books, even bead lovers who live across the globe could enjoy and create the lovely patterns.  

In 1994 we implemented our "test pilot" program, to verify the written material would be understandable to even the most inexperienced bead enthusiast. Modifying and clarifying each passage and illustration, we found the best way to present a 3-dimensional art form as a 2-dimensional learning opportunity.

Our test pilot program now includes playing with new bead colors, to determine if we should consider adding them to our color line, and working out the new patterns, to make sure they are readable and precise. We also continue to refine our patterns and books, always improving on what we offer our customers.
